Important notes;
Aquariums Online would recommend purchasing a non return valve for your air pump in the case of a power cut. If you have a powercut and your pump is lower than the water in your tank then the airline in your pump is liable to act as a syphon, if this happens then your pump will empty your tank through the airpump onto the floor causing water damage and killing your fish.
